Pete Doherty. 15+ hours. 2B and 8B.

Finally done. :) This isn't a good picture of the drawing. The piece looks much better in real life. The shading is smoother and the values are better.
I used a different type of pencils this time. For the last few drawings, i've been using derwent, but i didn't really like the feel of it so i tried the sanford design pencils. They feel quite different.
Well, that's about it, nothing special.

yeah, i promised i would stop drawing him but i saw the photo and couldn't resist. When pete's photographed, there seems to be a lot of emotion, which is nice to draw, instead of some makeup ad or something.

I thought you said you were done with Pete?

It's lovely, all the same. The rosary is a nice touch, I love drawing them.

It looks amasing i love the way to captured it, though i think that the elbow bit of his right hand should have been a bit higher up.
i know i dont particularly feel comfortable with derwent pencils myself, though what i use is the Fabecastell shading pencils, they work well with me, or so i've lead myself to believe.
